Peter and I\u2019m the founder of RAYA Construction Group LLC. I was born in Heidelberg (Germany) and relocated to Charlotte for work (I\u2019m also a CPA) about 10 years ago. Real Estate has always been my passion. It began when my father built our family home and I always observed and tried to help where I could. After college, I went into taxation (Dad: \u201cPeople always pay taxes\u201d. Alex: \u201cBut they also always need houses\u201d). My first job focused on real estate taxation. Because I also wanted to pursue my passion, I bought houses, renovated and improved them and sold them in my spare time. After moving to Charlotte, I continued doing that. But there is only so much you can do next to your main corporate job. The 2020 pandemic finally gave me the opportunity to study and take the NASCLA exam, the only recognized pathway in the industry to get a General Contractor\u2019s license in around 15 states. We\u2019re now licensed in North and South Carolina and I can finally spend more time in my passion: To build houses and help others to realize their dream homes while still advise on taxation, in particular concerning real estate.<\/p>\n

A Project Forman (Manager)<\/h4>\n
